ABOUT
The Barocksolisten München ignite the stage with a vibrant, one-to-a-part period-instrument sound that brings Baroque and Classical music into sharp, thrilling focus. Led by flutist and artistic director Dorothea Seel, the ensemble is known for its curated, narrative-rich programs that spotlight rediscovered composers, rare works, and the full artistic spectrum of the 18th century — far beyond the familiar canon.
Their transparent, articulate sound allows every musical line to speak with clarity and expressive immediacy, drawing listeners into a direct and intimate encounter with the music. The ensemble’s performances have been featured at renowned festivals including the Baroque Days of Stift Melk, the Brühl Palace Concerts, the Telemann Days Zerbst, the Meran Festival, the European Weeks Passau, and the International Bach Chamber Music Festival Riga.
With a growing discography, the Barocksolisten München have earned international recognition for their artistic approach. Their recordings include works by Vivaldi, Bach, Johann Zach, and most recently MOZART CONCERTI (2024) — praised for its freshness of concept, vivid sound, and historically informed elegance.
Through concerts, recordings, and educational projects, the Barocksolisten München invite audiences to rediscover the colours, character, and creative diversity of a musical world still full of untold stories.
